Allie Devin

Allie Devine attended St. Mary’s of the Plains College and obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees in English, History, and Government in 1983. Following college, Allie enrolled at Washburn University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1986. Allie then earned her LLM in Agricultural Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1987.

After graduation, Allie worked in Washington, DC first as Associate Minority Council to the US House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture and later as an Executive Assistant to the Secretary of Agriculture. She then moved back to Kansas and joined the Kansas Livestock Association for two years as its Director of Research. In 1995, Governor Bill Graves appointed Allie as the Kansas Secretary of Agriculture, a position she held for 4 years. Upon completion of her role as the Secretary of Agriculture, Allie returned to the KLA as its Vice President and General Counsel for twelve years. In 2011, Allie and John Donley formed Devine & Donley, LLC. Allie has also worked as an adjunct professor at Washburn University School of Law, teaching Agricultural Law.

Allie is dedicated to providing her clients with legal and lobbying services for a variety of issues. With over twenty years of legal and government affairs experience, Allie has managed a wide range of issues including tax, agricultural law, environmental regulations, transportation, immigration, and other areas affecting general business interests.

Allie is married to Greg Wright, with whom she has two children.
